Tritons Garner CCAA Commissioner's Cup

SAN DIEGO (UCSD) - For the third consecutive year, UC San Diego was announced the winner of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Commissioner's Cup for the just-completed 2007-08 athletics season, it was announced on Monday at the CCAA's Executive Council Meetings in Arcata. The Commissioner's Cup is presented in association with Apple Computer with the winning institution to receive a laptop computer along with a glass trophy and is awarded to the CCAA member institution with the highest aggregate ranking in eight (8) of the CCAA's 13 championship sport offerings. UC San Diego totaled 18.5 points to finish ahead of Chico State, which finished second with 20 points.
