SAN DIEGO (USD) - The University of San Diego women's rowing team had a successful day on the water at day one of the Crew Classic. The Toreros advanced both their Varsity 8 entry as well as their Novice 8 boat to the finals which will be held on Sunday morning.

Softball Loses to Portland

The University of San Diego softball team wrapped up day one of their first Pacific Coast Softball Conference doubleheader with a two-game loss to the Portland State Vikings. The Toreros dropped game one by a score of 4-7 followed by a second loss in game two by a score of 5-6.

Baseball Downs Gonzaga

Logan Gelbrich goes yard twice and both James Meador and Jose Valerio tally their first collegiate home runs as the 17th-ranked University of San Diego baseball team cruised their way to a 7-4 win over Gonzaga University Saturday afternoon at Cunningham Stadium in a West Coast Conference game.
