Aztecs Beat

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL - The UNLV volleyball team exacted a measure of revenge on San Diego State as it defeated the Aztecs in four games Friday night at Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas. The win came four weeks after the Aztecs (11-9, 3-6 MWC) defeated the Rebels (16-3, 7-2 MWC) in San Diego, one of only three losses for UNLV this fall. SDSU was led by 11 kills apiece from freshman Lauren Salisbury and senior Lindsey Mahan.
MEN'S SOCCER - The 18th-ranked San Diego State men's soccer team had its eight-game unbeaten streak snapped in a 3-1 loss to Washington on Friday night in Seattle. It was the first loss for the Aztecs (7-3-2, 3-1-0 Pac-10) in Pac-10 play, while the Huskies, who defeated nationally ranked New Mexico and SMU earlier this season, improved to 6-5-2 and 1-2-1.
