NFL Week Three Best Bets

BY Associated Content
Here are the NFL Week 3 Best Bets:

San Diego -4 over GREEN BAY
San Diego will go into Green Bay very angry and with something to prove next weekend. After getting embarrassed by the Patriots, Ladainian Tomlinson and company will light up the scoreboard, even if the Packers defense is pretty good. The Pack won't be able to keep up and 4 points seems like a bargain to give.
Prediction: San Diego 31, Packers 21

Buffalo/NEW ENGLAND O42
New England seems to be scoring at will and the Bills defense hasn't really been impressive yet. The Bills give up a lot of yards on the ground, but Brady will make sure they give them up through the air as well. The first two game the Patriots have won 38-14, maybe they will make it three. The Bills stand no chance against the Patriots on the road.
Prediction: Patriots 38, Bills 14

HOUSTON +5 over Indianapolis
Houston's defense has looked very impressive so far this season and the offense looks much improved as well. While the Colts are one of the best teams in the league, Houston always plays them tough and this game is in Houston, take the points.
Prediction: Texans 23, Colts 24

Arizona +9 over BALTIMORE

Arizona looked better last game offensively than they did against the 49ers. The Ravens should have some trouble scoring against the better Cardinals defense. In the end I can't see the Ravens scoring enough points and I see the Cardinals offense scoring enough to keep the Ravens lead in single digits. This will be a real test for the Cardinals.
Prediction: Ravens 21, Cardinals 17

Minnesota +2 over KANSAS CITY
I feel like I'm robbing someone with this line. Kansas City only has Larry Johnson and the Vikings are great against the run. Also, Minnesota's offense hasn't been horrible and has been somewhat productive, especially Adrian Peterson. In the end I can't see why Minnesota is getting points, but I will take them.
Prediction: Vikings 28, Chiefs 14

PITTSBURGH -9 over San Francisco
The Steelers will welcome the 49ers to Pittsburgh on Sunday. The 49ers offense just isn't there yet except for Frank Gore and the Steelers have been pretty potent on offense so far. If the 49ers defense doesn't give the Steelers too much trouble they should win by 2 touchdowns.
Prediction: Steelers 31, 49ers 17

Cincinnati +3.5 over SEATTLE
Cincinnati isn't as awful as they looked on Sunday and like the Chargers they will be looking to prove something. The Bengals should put up points on the Seahawks and I am just not sure the Hawks could keep up, especially if Deion Branch isn't playing well. In the end I think the Bengals should be favored and give great value because of their loss to the Browns. Take that value and run with it.
Prediction: Bengals 28, Seahawks 24

DENVER -3 over Jacksonville
One of these days the Broncos are going to win a game by more than a few points and Sunday looks like the day. Jacksonville will be visiting Invesco Field at Mile High and they haven't looked impressive by any means this season. They could only manage 13 points off of the Falcons and they will get even less against the Broncos. Denver will win by a touchdown or more.
Prediction: Broncos 24, Jaguars 17

Carolina -4 over Atlanta
I think I will just pick against Atlanta every single week. This is another case of a team with something to prove playing a much lesser team. Steve Smith will probably grab another 2 touchdowns as he is the only thing working for Carolina, but that might still be enough to cover against the Falcons. The Falcons have zero offense this season and will struggle to get out of single digits again.
Prediction: Panthers 21, Falcons 13

Dallas +3 over CHICAGO
Chicago doesn't look very good right now and Dallas does. Dallas could make themselves the team to beat in the NFC with an upset over the Bears. I think the Cowboys could win this game outright so I will gladly take the points.
Prediction: Cowboys 24, Bears 21

WASHINGTON/NY GIANTS U40.5
The Giants seem offensively challenged right now and the Redskins, whose defense looks impressive, don't mind staying in low-scoring tight games. I expect this score to be much like the Eagles/Redskins score. That means I feel that between 30-40 points will go up, but over 40 seems unlikely. Don't forget Eli Manning will still be bruised up and Brandon Jacobs will be out of the game.
Prediction: Redskins 21, Giants 17

Cleveland/OAKLAND O39.5
Cleveland probably won't be putting up 51 points again and I see them struggling against the Oakland pass defense this week. They can't play that well all the time. Oakland might put up some points, but I will take my chances with the under.
Prediction: Cleveland 17, Oakland 21
