UCLA is #1 Seed in West

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- UCLA will vie for its third straight Final Four appearance from the top. The Pac-10 Conference champion Bruins received the No. 1 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament when the brackets were released Sunday. It is the first time since 1995 that the Bruins (31-3) received a top seed in the Tournament. UCLA won its 11th - and most recent - national championship that year. UCLA, which made it to the Final Four the last two seasons as a No. 2 seed, enters the NCAAs on a 10-game winning streak following Saturday's 67-64 victory over Stanford in the Pac-10 championship.
