NEW YORK (Ticker) -- After enjoying a day at the White House, the Anaheim Ducks continued their fun in the New York metropolitan area. Corey Perry and Chris Kunitz scored 87 seconds apart in the second period to lift the Ducks to a 4-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Thursday night. Making its first visit to Madison Square Garden since October 28, 2003, Anaheim improved to 2-2-1 on its nine-game road trip.

The Ducks also have posted consecutive victories after a six-game losing streak (0-5-1) in which they had scored just five goals. "When you lose six in row - we lost one in a shootout," Ducks coach Randy Carlyle said. "But they all felt like losses and we were able to turn the tables by getting the win on the Island (on Tuesday). It wasn't pretty tonight, but it was effective."
