LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- UCLA continued its dominance of Arizona State in emphatic fashion. Josh Shipp had 21 points and freshman Kevin Love added 20 and 10 rebounds as the fifth-ranked Bruins cruised to an 84-51 trouncing of the Sun Devils in a Pac-10 Conference rout on Thursday.

Darren Collison chipped in 14 points and nine assists and Russell Westbrook had 10 and seven with four steals for UCLA, which has won seven straight games against Arizona State. "I was really pleased with the way we played tonight," UCLA coach Ben Howland said. "Arizona State is a very good team, but we were very prepared for them and just played a great game.

The trio of Shipp, Love and Collison combined to shoot 20-of-27 from the floor - including 8-of-11 from the arc - as the Bruins quickly raced out to a big lead and never looked back. "You look at out stat line - Kevin (Love) had another double-double, Darren (Collison) and Russell (Westbrook) had 16 assists and only one turnover between them," Howland said. "We played exceptionally well." UCLA (19-2, 7-1 Pac-10) used an early 13-0 spurt to take an 18-4 advantage with 12:22 left in the first half and led by double digits for the remainder of the contest.
