Busch Wins Budweiser Shootout

DAYTONA, Florida (Ticker) - Kurt Busch "won" the pole for Saturday night's Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway. Busch drew the lucky flag out of the Budweiser bottle in the blind draw for the pole position. It will be Busch's fifth career start in the Budweiser Shootout, a non-points All-Star race that features the previous season's pole winners and past Budweiser Shootout winners.

The race will feature a record field of 23 drivers and the current generation race car, previously known as the Car of Tomorrow. "I think it's going to be an interesting race," Busch said. "I'm glad to be a part of it because you get to run with a tight group of competition. These guys are tough and you get to learn with this new car."
