UCSD to Host #1 BYU in Men's Volleyball

SAN DIEGO (UCSD) - The UC San Diego men's volleyball team hosts No.1 Brigham Young this week. The Tritons and Cougars will square off on January 11 and 12, with both matches beginning at 7:00 p.m. in RIMAC Arena. UCSD has never beaten BYU in 27 matches.

Last week the Tritons defeated UC Santa Cruz to open the season. It was UCSD's first season-opening win since the 2004 campaign when the Tritons defeated Quincy. The matches this weekend will be UCSD's first of six consecutive matches versus nationally ranked top-11 opponents.
