SAN DIEGO (UCSD) - Coming off its upset last week of No. 7 UC Irvine, UCSD has entered the latest CSTV/AVCA Men's Volleyball weekly poll with a No. 14 national ranking. This week the UC San Diego men's volleyball team (2-3, 1-3 MPSF) travels to Hawaii to take on the 13th-ranked Warriors (1-4, 0-2 MPSF) for two matches in Honolulu. UCSD and Hawaii will square off on Wednesday, January 23 and 25, with first the first serve of each match slated for 7:00 p.m. Hawaii time. The Tritons are winless in 37 matches against the Warriors. Last year UCSD was swept twice by Hawaii in RIMAC. In 2006, UCSD's last vistit to Hawaii, the Tritons dropped a four-game and three-game match at the Stan Sheriff Center.
