LOS ANGELES (UCSD) - Less than 24 hours after posting a double overtime victory at Cal State Dominguez Hills, the UC San Diego men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 111-102 triple overtime decision at Cal State L.A. on Saturday evening in the Eagles' Nest on the CSULA campus. The loss drops UCSD to 7-4 on the season and 4-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Association play while the Golden Eagles improve to 9-4 overall and 3-3 in league action. Six CSULA players scored in double figures while five UCSD scored 10 points or more in a game that saw 15 lead changes and 17 ties. Jordan Lawley led the Tritons with 20 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
