FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Lorrenzo Wade hit a 3-pointer from the right elbow with 20 seconds left to lift San Diego State past Colorado State 83-82 on Tuesday night in a game in which the Rams sank 14 3-pointers to the Aztecs' four.
The Rams (6-14, 0-6 Mountain West) had one last chance to snap their six-game losing streak but Willis Gardner hit the rim with a runner and Ryan Amoroso pulled down the rebound for San Diego State (15-6, 5-2) as the buzzer sounded. Wade's 3-pointer came 20 seconds after Marcus Walker sank his fifth 3-pointer, putting the Rams up 82-80.
