SAN DIEGO (UCSD) - The third-ranked UC San Diego women's basketball team will host the CCAA/GNAC Classic on December 28 and 29 inside RIMAC Arena. Cal Poly Pomona, No. 15 Seattle Pacific and Western Washington will round out the tournament participants. Game times will be at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on both days.

The Tritons enter the tournament with a 9-1 overall record, its best mark to start a season in program history. The lone loss came last week at the WWU Great Western Shootout in Las Vegas where UCSD dropped a 65-57 decision to unbeaten Central Washington. First year head coach Charity Elliott's squad will face 15th-ranked Seattle Pacific on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
