LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- Two of the NBA's hottest teams square off on Sunday when the Boston Celtics conclude their West Coast road trip with a meeting against the Los Angeles Lakers. The Celtics moved to 3-0 on the four-game swing on Saturday with their fifth consecutive victory, 104-98, over the Utah Jazz. Paul Pierce scored 24 points and Ray Allen scored 23 as Boston outscored the Jazz, 28-20, in the fourth quarter to overcome a seven-point halftime deficit. With the victory, the Celtics surpassed their win total from all of last season. The Celtics, 9-1 in their last 10 games, have won seven straight on the road and are 7-0 against Western Conference teams. The Lakers have won four straight, including a 123-109 victory on Friday at home against Utah. Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson tied Red Auerbach for seventh place on the all-time list with 938 regular-season victories. Los Angeles has won eight of its last 10 games.
