2008 MLS Season Features Cup Rematch

NEW YORK (Ticker) - The 2008 Major League Soccer season will begin the same way the 2007 campaign ended - with a clash between the Houston Dynamo and New England Revolution. The MLS Cup champion Houston Dynamo will travel to Foxboro on March 29 to face the Revolution, the team they have beaten in each of the last two MLS Cup finals. Houston won the 2007 final, 2-1, in Washington on November 18. The fixture was among several announced on Tuesday. Among the other fixtures scheduled for opening day, Toronto FC will travel to play the Columbus Crew and the Kansas City Wizards host DC United.
