Wildcats Win Home Opener

SAN DIEGO - There was excitement in the air at the Ray & Jon Kroc Center for the San Diego Wildcats ABA home opener against the Orange County Gladiators. The Wildcats (2-0) defeated the Gladiators 113-79 before an estimated overflow crowd of 500 excited fans. Cardell Butler led the Wildcats in the win with 29 points. The Gladiators were led by Phil Givens with 24 points. San Diego continues their homestand with games on Friday and Saturday, 7:15 p.m. tip at the cozy Kroc Center.
