UCSD to Play Northwest Nazarene in Postseason

The 20th-ranked UC San Diego women's volleyball team has earned one of the eight postseason spots in the NCAA Pacific Region, it was announced on Monday morning. UCSD (19-7), seeded third in the region, will face Northwest Nazarene (18-8), seeded sixth in the region. Cal State San Bernardino, the CCAA champion, will be the Regional host and is the top-seed in the region. Also making the eight-team regional was Western Washington, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State L.A., Chico State and Western Oregon. The 2007 Pacific Regional will begin on Thursday, November 15, with the semifinals on the 16th and the championship on the 17th. All match times will be decided later today.
