SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Darrell Mack rushed for 131 yards on 22 carries - his third straight game over 100 yards - as Utah posted a 23-7 victory over San Diego State. Brian Johnson completed 21-of-28 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown for the Utes (4-1, 1-3), who won their first conference game of the season. Utah held San Diego State (2-4, 1-1) to just 211 yards -- more than 200 yards below its season average. Aztecs quarterback Kevin O'Connell completed just 14-of-31 passes for 114 yards and an interception.
