SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- Rodney Ferguson's six-yard touchdown run with 15 seconds remaining lifted New Mexico to a 20-17 victory over San Diego State. Ferguson rushed for 75 yards on 23 carries and Donovan Porterie completed 18-of-35 passes for 240 yards and a touchdown and two interceptions for the Lobos (5-2, 2-1 MWC), who have won seven straight against the Aztecs. Kevin O'Connell completed 18-of-26 passes for 135 yards and added 84 yards and two TD runs in 11 carries for San Diego State (2-5, 1-2).
