San Diego State (0-1; 0-0 Mountain West) concludes its season-opening tour of the Pac-10 Conference on Saturday, with a road game at Arizona State (2-0; 0-0 Pac-10). SDSU opened its 85th season of football and second under head coach Chuck Long last Saturday with a 45-17 road loss to Washington State at Qwest Field in Seattle. Arizona State leads the series 9-0-1, including a 3-0 mark in Tempe. The Sun Devils won the previous meeting, 39-28, in San Diego in 2002.
