Gruber Wins Super-G

WHISTLER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- Christoph Gruber of Austria claimed his fourth career World Cup super-G win Thursday. Gruber clocked the fastest time along with getting his first taste of the IOC test event for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics. Gruber posted a winning time of one minute, 26.60 seconds to win his third super-G podium on North American snow, with his last win in Beaver Creek. Austrian teammate Hannes Reichelt was second in 1:26.63, earning his seventh career podium finish, while Ales Gorza of Slovenia was third in 1:26.71.
