LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - The Anaheim Ducks hope to get back into the win column when they visit the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday, kicking off a nine-game road trip. The stretch of road games for Anaheim runs across the country and back, finally ending on February 12 in Colorado.

Anaheim has dropped its last two contests, including a 2-1 defeat to Detroit on Wednesday. The Ducks have had success against the Kings this season, winning the last four meetings after dropping the season opener in London. Anaheim has outscored Los Angeles, 17-9, during the four wins.

Los Angeles is coming off a 3-0 defeat to Detroit, which marked the fourth time that the Kings were shutout this season. The Kings easily hold the worst record in the Western Conference and have allowed the most goals in the West. Anze Kopitar leads the team with 27 assists and 45 points and has recorded one goal and three assists in the five games against the Ducks this season.
