Brian Giles had a two-out RBI groundout to tie the game against Reds reliever Francisco Cordero (4-3) and Adrian Gonzalez was intentionally walked before Kouzmanoff delivered. Scott Hairston hit his 16th homer in the seventh to cut the deficit to 4-3.
