LA Angels (8-6) at Texas (5-8), 11:05 pm
ARLINGTON, Texas (Ticker) - After recording baseball's best home record last season, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim seem to be taking their show on the road in 2008. The Angels go for a two-game sweep of the Texas Rangers on Monday. At 54-27, Anaheim was tough to beat at Angel Stadium last season. While they are 3-3 there to begin 2008, the Angels have won five of their first eight on the road, including Monday's 7-4 victory over the Rangers. Mike Napoli hit his fourth homer of the season while Ervin Santana turned in his third consecutive solid start in the win. Angels second baseman Howie Kendrick remains sidelined with a strained left hamstring and is expected to miss at least this game. Hoping to benefit from his absence will be Texas starter Kevin Millwood (1-2, 1.29 ERA), who is off to a strong start this season. On Thursday, the righthander recorded the win against Baltimore with seven strong frames, yielding just one run and three hits. Opposing him on the mound will be Dustin Moseley (1-1, 7.36), who also posted his first win of the season in his last start. In Wednesday's 9-5 victory over Cleveland, the righthander surrendered four runs and nine hits over six innings, striking out five.
