SAN FRANCISCO (Ticker) - The San Francisco Giants may have ended their losing streak, but they'll have to capitalize with runners on base if they want to continue winning. The Giants go for back-to-back wins for the first time this season on Wednesday when they wrap up a three-game series with the San Diego Padres.

San Francisco claimed a thrilling 3-2 victory against the Padres in 11 innings Tuesday on the strength of Bengie Molina's walk-off solo home run. Molina also blasted a solo shot in the second inning while Randy Winn drove in the Giants other run with an RBI double in the third. San Francisco stranded six runners during the game and is hitting just .203 (12-for-59) with runners in scoring position this season. "Everybody right now is trying to do a little bit too much," center fielder Aaron Rowand said. "As the season wears on and you get in those situations more often, you tend not to go up there and try too hard."

Jonathan Sanchez (0-1, 15.75 ERA) is looking to bounce back from a dismal start during his last outing when he takes the mound for the Giants on Wednesday. The 25-year-old lefthander allowed seven runs and seven hits in four innings en route to a 13-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. The only thing that went right for Sanchez during his outing was his career-high eight strikeouts.

Righthander Justin Germano (0-0, 0.00) allowed just one unearned run and three hits in six innings during his first start of the season for the Padres. Despite the outstanding performance, Germano did not factor in the decision as San Diego suffered a 7-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday.
