Aztecs Beat

SAN DIEGO (SDSU) - Arizona scored 10 runs over the middle five innings to negate an early San Diego State lead as the Wildcats claimed an 11-6 win over the Aztecs Tuesday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium. A nine-run lead proved too much for SDSU to overcome despite a grand slam by third baseman Nick Romero, who finished the contest with five RBI. The win improved Arizona, ranked 25th in this week's Rivals.com poll, to 16-11. SDSU, meanwhile, saw its record fall to 18-14 as it lost for the fourth time in its last five outings.

Water Polo Wins
Bolstered by a four-goal third period, the fifth-ranked San Diego State water polo team sent its three seniors off with a 10-7 upset over No. 4 Hawai'i on Tuesday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. SDSU improves to 25-3 overall and 7-2 in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, while the Rainbow Wahine fall to 14-6 overall, 7-3 MPSF.

Track & Field Travels South
The San Diego State track and field team will venture outside the State of California for the first time this outdoor season as it is set to travel to the South this week for the Sea Ray Relays at Tom Black Track in Knoxville, Tenn.
