Record Crowd Sees Red Sox Win

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- A Major League Baseball-record 115,000 fans turned out on Saturday to watch the Boston Red Sox top the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-4, in a Cactus League contest at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

With the left-field fence a mere 201 feet away due to the odd dimensions in the stadium, Kevin Youkilis and Kevin Cash each homered for the Red Sox. James Loney and Blake DeWitt belted shots for the Dodgers. Tim Wakefield got the start for Boston and allowed one unearned run and five hits in five-plus innings while walking two and striking out one.

Esteban Loaiza, who was named Los Angeles' fifth starter this weekend, yielded five runs - two earned - and four hits in three innings. The veteran righthander struck out three and walked one. David Ortiz, Bobby Kielty and Jed Lowrie each doubled for Boston.
