PEORIA, Arizona (Ticker) -- Pinch hitter Chase Headley clubbed a two-run homer in the ninth to help the San Diego Padres tie the Seattle Mariners, 6-6, in a 10-inning Cactus League battle Thursday.

Headley's fourth homer of the spring came off Mariners lefthander Eric O'Flaherty with one out in the ninth. Josh Bard and Adrian Gonzalez each had a pair of hits for the Padres and Scott Hairston doubled and drove in a run. Ichiro Suzuki had three hits and scored three runs and Raul Ibanez went 3-for-3 for Seattle. Miguel Batista started and surrendered three runs and seven hits in six frames while striking out seven for the Mariners.
