Aztec Men Struggle to Beat Air Force

LAS VEGAS (SDSU) - Lorrenzo Wade sank four free throws and grabbed a critical rebound in the final seven seconds, allowing San Diego State to edge Air Force 53-49 Thursday in the Mountain West Conference tournament quarterfinals. The Aztecs (20-11) advanced to face No. 24 BYU in the semifinals despite making just two baskets in the final 16:07, both of them by Richie Williams. The Aztecs have three consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time since 1938-41.
