Woods WIns Buick

LA JOLLA, California (Ticker) -- Tiger Woods shot a 1-under-par71 on Sunday to reach 19-under par 269 and win the $5.2 million Buick Invitational by eight shots over Ryuji Imada.
Woods, who earned $936,000 for his 62nd career victory, began the day with an eight-shot lead but quickly made it nine when he birdied the first hole. He got the lead to 10 when he made a birdie on the sixth hole.
Imada had one of the best rounds of the day, a 67 to move from a tie for eighth at the beginning of the final round to finish second at 11-under 277.Woods made a bogey on the eighth hole to drop to 19-under and finished the front nine 1-under par, 35. Woods struggled on the back nine making three birdies, but also making three consecutive bogeys. His 71 was the first round in the 70s since an opening round 72 the first week of September at the Deutsche Bank Championship. He had posted 19 rounds in the60s.
Stewart Cink, who began the final round in second place, shot a1-over 73 and finished tied for third with Rory Sabbatini at9-under. Cink and Woods were the only two golfers to enter the final round with three rounds in the 60s, but neither could make it four.
