Trahan, Gomez Share Leads at Hope Classic

PALM DESERT, California (Ticker) -- D.J. Trahan shares the lead with Robert Gamez entering Friday's third round of the $5.1 million Bob Hope Chrysler Classic. Trahan shot the low round of Thursday's second round, firing a 64, while Gamez had a 65. The players are tied with an overall score of 13-under-par 131 in the five-round event. Justin Leonard, who won the event in 2005, also shot a 64 and is one stroke behind the leaders. Steve Elkington is three strokes behind after carding a 68. Four different golf courses are used in the Pro-Am format that mixes celebrities and amateurs with professionals.
