SAN DIEGO (USD) - The University of San Diego men's basketball team opens up West Coast Conference play this Saturday, January 12, when they host San Francisco in a 6:05 p.m. contest at the Jenny Craig Pavilion. This will be the 60th meeting between USD and San Francisco with the Toreros holding a slim 30-29 advantage.

The Toreros downed USF in their last meeting, a 77-75 win in the quarterfinals of the WCC Tournament. USF beat the Toreros in both regular-season league games last year (103-100, ot @ USF; 98-88 @ JCP).

Saturday's game will be telecast locally by Channel 4 San Diego with Steve Quis (p-by-p) and Jim Brogan (analyst) calling the action. The game will also be broadcast on XX Sports Radio (1090 AM & 105.7 FM) with Andy Masur (p-by-p) and John Kentera (analyst) bringing you all the action.
