UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) - The New York Islanders look to snap a five-game home losing streak when they host the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday. New York is 0-4-1 in its last five games at the Nassau Coliseum, last winning on December 29 over New Jersey. The Islanders' latest home setback was a 5-2 defeat to Ottawa on Tuesday. Goaltender Rick DiPietro allowed four goals on 25 shots and is 0-3-1 in his last four games. It will be the second contest of a season-long eight-game road trip for the Kings, who dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to Philadelphia on Tuesday. Anze Kopitar leads the team with 27 assists and 47 points and has tallied a goal in each of Los Angeles' last two games. This marks the only meeting between the teams this season.
