Detroit (35-10-4) at Los Angeles (19-28-2), 7:30 pm, FSN

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- It will be a matchup of the NHL's best and worst on Tuesday, when the Detroit Red Wings face off against the Los Angeles Kings. The Red Wings have a league-high 74 points. After a three-game winless streak, Detroit quickly got back on track with victories over Vancouver and San Jose.

The Red Wings have had no problems with the Kings, who have a league-low 40 points. Detroit rolled in the first two games of the four-game season series, scoring six goals in each contest. "There's an absolute reason why they're the best team in the league," Los Angeles goaltender Jason LaBarbera said. "All four lines are on the same page and all six (defenseman) are on the same page."

The Kings have played better of late, winning four of their last five games, including a 4-3 victory at Vancouver on Saturday. LaBarbera has started the last 10 games for Los Angeles. "Barbs has been playing well for us," Kings right wing Dustin Brown said. "He's been making saves like that for us all the time."
