Women's Hoops Open MWC Slate Saturday
SAN DIEGO (SDSU) - The San Diego State women's basketball team returns to Cox Arena Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest against visiting New Mexico for the Aztecs' 2008 MWC home opener. A year ago, all five of the Aztecs' league victories came at home.

Softball to Host Free Clinic
The San Diego State softball coaching staff will hold a free coach's clinic on Feb. 5 in the Aztec Athletic Center Auditorium, head coach Kathy Van Wyk announced Friday. The clinic, which will be held from 6-8:30 p.m., is open to all softball coaches.

Men's Basketball Travels to New Mexico
Having matched its best 15-game record in 23 seasons, San Diego State (11-4 overall; 1-0 MWC) travels to Albuquerque, N.M., to face New Mexico (14-2; 1-0 MWC) on Saturday in the only Mountain West Conference matchup between league unbeatens this weekend.
