Central Michigan (8-5), MAC 1 vs. Purdue (7-5), Big 10

Central Michigan, the MAC champions for the second year in a row, put up 34 points a game and allow 36 points a game. Not exactly, a winning formula, however, a 70-14 loss against Clemson (9-3) skews the numbers a bit. The real good news for CM is the fact that they will play in the Motor City Bowl. That means they will have home-field advantage. Purdue started out the year 5-0 and have now lost five of the last seven. However, one of those wins earlier in the year was against Central Michigan. Purdue jumped out to a 38-0 lead and smacked them around all game long. This game will be much closer, but Purdue will still win.

Winner: Purdue 42, Central Michigan 31
