ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Anaheim Ducks look to return to the .500 mark Tuesday when they face the Los Angeles Kings. The Ducks snapped a two-game slide with a 3-2 shootout victory over the San Jose Sharks on Friday. Ryan Getzlaf and Andy McDonald each scored a goal in regulation before cementing the win with tallies in the shootout. Getzlaf is off to a hot start this season and leads the Ducks with 16 points - five goals and 11 assists. The 22-year-old center is on pace for his best season yet in his three year career after finishing his sophomore season with 58 points. McDonald, who has three goals and six assists this season, helped lead the Ducks to the Stanley Cup last season, notching 27 tallies and 51 assists while appearing in all 82 games. The Kings are coming off a wild 6-5 win over the Dallas Stars. Trailing 4-0 with just over seven minutes to play, Los Angeles scored five goals on six shots before a late tally by the Stars sent the game to overtime. Anze Kopitar scored his second goal of the game 2 1/2 minutes into overtime, giving the Kings their second win in three games.
