NFL Picks

The NFL season is entering the stretch run and we are starting to really hit our stride with a shining week of picks. We went 11-5 in a week where upsets ruled the day. Who saw the Jets upsetting Pittsburgh? Regardless of the upsets, we had a solid week picking your favorite NFL winners. This week will be no different. Let us look ahead at the week to come!
Green Bay at Detroit - This is a monumental match up that has long been a target date marked on Packers and Lions fans schedules. While Detroit losing last week took some of the luster away, Thanksgiving day will add it right back. With the glitz and glamour of a national stage, expect Favre to shine his brightest. Sorry to my good friend Emma, but the Packers are to strong in this one.
Packers win
NY Jets at Dallas - The Jets popped up in week eleven and upset the Steelers out of nowhere. Tony Romo and Terrell Owens will not let that happen.
Cowboys win
Indianapolis at Atlanta - The Colts and Atlanta. I guess I simply MUST take the Colts.
Colts win
Seattle at St. Louis - Suddenly resurgent St. Louis seems to have figured out a way to get an offense in the end zone again. Seattle seems to be peaking at the right time. Two months ago, this would be expected to be a showdown for the division. St. Louis will get some revenge here against a tough Seattle squad.
Rams win
Minnesota at NY Giants - The Vikings and the Giants should be a pretty good match up. The Giants cannot seem to figure out how to beat the upper echelon teams, but they do a pretty good job against teams with a losing record.
Giants win
Buffalo at Jacksonville - Jacksonville looked fantastic last week against the Chargers. Expect more of the same against Buffalo.
Jaguars win
New Orleans at Carolina - Well, in a battle for second place in the NFC South, the Panthers (who can't win at home) will fight it out with the Saints (who can't win consistently) In this game, I do not feel as though the Panthers could possibly lose again at home. (Yes, my fingers and toes are crossed on this one).
Panthers win
Washington at Tampa Bay - Tampa has been running away with the NFC south as they have won a couple in a row. Washington looked sharp against Dallas, in spite of the loss. Washington will win this on the strength of a great performance from Jason Campbell.
Redskins win
Houston at Cleveland - The Texans and Browns fighting it out for an AFC wildcard spot! Who would have ever thought this would happen! The Browns appear to be a real contender this season, as a soft schedule in the second half looks to put them in the playoffs for the first time in a while.
Browns win
Tennessee at Cincinnati - The Titans and the Bengals are a fun match up in that the Bengals are a team you have no idea what to expect. The Titans always play everyone close, and have shown themselves to be a tough team to beat. The Bengals lose a tight one.
Titans win
Oakland at Kansas City - The Raiders travel to Kansas City and find out that the Chiefs are tough at home. Chiefs win
San Francisco at Arizona - The Niners and the Cardinals will be a mismatch this time as the Cardinals are clicking right now on offense. The Niners can't keep up.
Cardinals win
Baltimore at San Diego - The Ravens will taste the sting of the Chargers with them coming off a bad week. The Chargers must win, and will.
Chargers win
Denver at Chicago - Denver and Chicago love cold weather games, but the Bears love it more. The Bears will find a way to upset the Broncos at home and gain some measure of respect. This one will be won on pride alone.
Bears win
Philadelphia at New England - The Eagles are the next in line to try to take out the Patriots. This will be ugly.
Patriots win
Miami at Pittsburgh - A game that used to be a classic will be instead a massacre as Miami gets bombed.
Steelers win
Week 11 Record - 11-5
Season Record - 106-53
