SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- After pulling off another miracle in the "Holy War", Brigham Young has one more goal to achieve. The 21st-ranked Cougars look to finish unbeaten in the Mountain West Conference for the second straight season on Saturday when they visit San Diego State. Originally scheduled for October 27, the game was postponed due to the wildfires in Southern California. BYU, which has won 15 straight conference games, clinched the Mountain West outright title last week with a 17-10 victory over Utah. Max Hall tossed a 49-yard completion to Austin Collie on 4th-and-18 to set up Harvey Unga's game-winning 11-yard touchdown run with 38 seconds remaining. A year ago, John Beck tossed an 11-yard TD to Jonny Harline as time expired to lift the Cougars to a 33-31 triumph over the Utes. Overall, BYU (9-2, 7-0 MWC) has won eight straight games, the second-longest winning streak in the Football Bowl Subdivision behind Hawaii's 12-game run. Hall played against Utah despite suffering a shoulder separation the week before at Wyoming. He only completed 17-of-40 passes for 269 yards but did drive the Cougars 80 yards in just 56 seconds for the winning score. Hall could have more success against San Diego State (4-7, 3-4 MWC), which has allowed 100 points in back-to-back losses to Air Force and TCU. San Diego State is 98th in the FBS in scoring defense, yielding 33.2 points per game.
