Men's Volleyball in MWC Tournament

SAN DIEGO (SDSU) - The San Diego State Aztecs team will travel to Las Vegas, Nev., for the ninth annual Mountain West Conference Volleyball Championship tournament hosted by UNLV beginning Wednesday, Nov. 21. All nine MWC teams will participate in the event. San Diego State will be the tourney's number-eight seed by virtue of finishing eighth in the final league standings. As such, it will face ninth-seeded Air Force on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. (PST) at UNLV's Cox Pavilion to open tournament play.

Women's Water Polo Signs Three

San Diego State women's water polo head coach Carin Crawford announced the signing Tuesday of three prep standouts to National Letters of Intent. Kelly Campoli (Lake Forest, Calif.), Meghann Pedersen (Los Gatos, Calif.), and Meaghan Poland (Lake Elsinore, Calif.) will join the Aztecs in 2008-09.

Football Begins Two-Game Homestand

Having won two of its last three games, San Diego State opens a two-game homestand on Saturday afternoon with a contest against TCU. Game time is set for 5 p.m. PT and there is no live television coverage of the game. AM 600 KOGO has the radio coverage for the Horned Frogs-Aztecs game.
