SOCCER CONCLUDES SEASON SUNDAY
(SDSU) - The San Diego State men's soccer wraps up its regular season with a match against Washington Sunday at noon at SDSU Sports Deck. SDSU (8-7-3, 4-4-1 Pac-10) can finish second in the Pac-10 with a win over the Huskies (8-7-3, 3-4-2 Pac-10) and can tie with UCLA if it ties Washington. The game will be the final regular season home contest for Aztec seniors Kraig Chiles, David Dally, Matt Lemire and Freddy McDonald. The four seniors will be recognized in a special pre-game ceremony.
MEN'S HOOPS SIGNS CHERIET
San Diego State men's basketball head coach Steve Fisher announced the signing of Mehdi Cheriet to a National Letter of Intent on Friday. Cheriet, a 6-9, 220-pound forward who is currently ranked No. 17 on jucojunction.com's Top 200, will join the team in 2008-09 as a junior and have two years of eligibility remaining.

WOMEN HOOPS START SEASON
The San Diego State women's basketball team will be looking to claim their first two games of a season for the first time since 1992, as the Aztecs travel to Moraga, Calif., for a Saturday afternoon contest with Saint Mary's at 2 p.m. at McKeon Pavilion.

VOLLEYBALL FINISHES SLATE ON THE ROAD
The San Diego State volleyball team wraps up its 2007 regular season with a pair of Mountain West Conference matches on the road this weekend. On Friday, Nov. 16, the Aztecs will be in Provo, Utah, to take on Brigham Young at 6:00 p.m. in Smith Fieldhouse. That game can be viewed live on the Internet at www.byutv.org. The following evening (Saturday, Nov. 17), SDSU will travel over to Salt Lake City to face Utah at 6:00 p.m.
