SAN DIEGO (Source: USD) - The University of San Diego women's volleyball team has moved up one spot to No. 14 in the latest CSTV/AVCA top-25 poll, which marks the seventh consecutive week USD has appeared in the to-25 polls.San Diego put together another undefeated week as they chalked up wins over the University of New Mexico, 3-1, then began their West Coast Conference title defense with a 3-0 win over the University of San Francisco this past Saturday. USD has now run their winning streak to four.

In Monday's match against New Mexico, Sophomore Torey Ellick recorded a career-high 17 kills on 24 attempts to post a team-best .625 attack percentage. Laurel Abrahamson recorded 13 kills on 20 attempts, while only committing one attack error to post a .600 attack percentage. Ali Troost recorded 11 kills and Jessica Andersen recorded 10 kills to give her back-to-back matches with double-digit kills. Andrea Csaszi recorded a match-best 22 digs in the win. In Saturday's win, Abrahamson led all players with 12 kills on 16 attempts, while only committing one attack error to post a match-best .688 attack percentage.
