Detroit (4-1-1) at Anaheim (2-4-1) 7:00 pm
ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Detroit Red Wings take on the struggling Anaheim Ducks in a rematch of the Western Conference Finals on Monday. The Ducks, who defeated Detroit in six games en route to their first Stanley Cup championship in franchise history last year, have lost four of their last five games this season. Anaheim is coming off Sunday's 2-0 loss against the Minnesota Wild. Ducks goaltender Jean-Sebastien Giguere made his first start in Sunday's loss after recovering from sports hernia surgery, making 23 saves. The defending champion Ducks have been led by Corey Perry, Ryan Getzlaf and Chris Kunitz - who all have three goals each. Detroit's first line is off to a fast start offensively. Henrik Zetterberg leads the team with four goals and 12 points in his first six games, Tomas Holmstrom has five goals and Pavel Datsyuk one goal and six assists. The trio combined for eight points Sunday when Detroit defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 4-1, at the Staples Center. Red Wings netminder Dominik Hasek has won 10 of his 22 career starts against Anaheim while posting a 2.05 goals-against average.
