Stanford (1-3) at No. 2 USC (4-0) 4:00 pm, Versus

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) - Southern California coach Pete Carroll is highly unlikely to see his team's home winning streak come to an end this weekend. Carroll's second-ranked Trojans look to extend their winning streak at the Los Angeles Coliseum to 36 games Saturday when they host lowly Pac-10 Conference foe Stanford. USC (4-0, 2-0 Pac-10) moved a step closer to a sixth straight conference title with a 27-24 victory at Washington last weekend that cost the Trojans the No. 1 spot in the media poll to Louisiana State. Stafon Johnson and Chauncey Washington combined to rush for 228 yards and two touchdowns for the Trojans, who committed 16 penalties and three turnovers but outgained the Huskies by a whopping 460-190 yards. Stanford (1-3, 0-3), which will be facing its fourth ranked team this season, was crushed at home by then-No. 23 Arizona State last weekend, 41-3. The Cardinal were down by just 6-0 before giving up back-to-back touchdowns late in the first half on a 62-yard pass and an interception return. USC has won the last five meetings with the Cardinal, including a 42-0 road triumph last year.
