LOUISVILLE (Ticker) -- Darrell Mack ran for a career-best 163 yards and three touchdowns to help Utah hold on for a 44-35 triumph over Louisville on Friday night. Utah's Brian Johnson went 24-of-32 for 312 yards, including a seven-yard TD toss to Brandon Godfrey for a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. Mack's two-yard touchdown scamper helped the Utes (3-3) take an impressive 27-7 advantage into the locker room. Brian Brohm completed 39-of-58 passes for 467 yards and four scores and Patrick Carter made nine catches for 155 yards for Louisville, which has lost three of its last four games. The Cardinals (3-3) have dropped consecutive home outings for the first time since 1999.
