Chargers Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month

SAN DIEGO (Source: Chargers) - The San Diego Chargers are offering a special, limited-edition pink Chargers hat with an embroidered, symbolic pink ribbon in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Breast cancer is the leading cancer among American women and is second only to lung cancer in deaths, according to the American Cancer Society. One woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes.

The Chargers will donate a portion of the proceeds to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For more than 20 years, the Foundation has been a global leader in the fight against breast cancer through its support of innovative research and community-based outreach programs. ESports Partners, the official online store partner of the Chargers, and Centerplate, the official Team Store partner also are matching donations during sales of the hat in October.
