SAN DIEGO (Source: SDSU) - The San Diego State men's soccer team opens its third season of Pac-10 play Saturday at SDSU Sports Deck against 2006 NCAA runner-up and 14th-ranked UCLA. Gametime is set for 2 p.m. The Aztecs (4-2-2), who are ranked No. 36 in the latest Top Drawer Soccer poll, are unbeaten (4-0-1) in their last five matches, while the Bruins come into Saturday's contest at 3-4-1. In conjunction with SDSU's annual Alumni, Family and Friends Weekend, there will be a halftime ceremony honoring the 20-year anniversary of SDSU's 1987 NCAA runner-up squad. The alumni game will follow on Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m.

The San Diego State-Utah football game will be carried live locally on Channel 4 San Diego on Oct. 13 at noon PDT. The game, which will be played in Salt Lake City and can also be heard live on KOGO 600AM, will mark the Aztecs' fifth televised appearance this season. The game can also be viewed in high definition.

San Diego State senior Anna Booth (Coffs Harbour, Australia) put together the best performance of her Aztec career Tuesday, tying for eighth place to help the women's golf team finish 10th out of 20 schools at the University of Colorado's Heather Farr Memorial Invitational in Broomfield, Colo. The Aztecs posted a two-day total of 52-over 916 at the par-72, 6,211-yard Omni Interlocken Golf Club.

The San Diego State Aztec volleyball team returns home this week for a pair of Mountain West Conference matches. Action begins on Thursday, Oct. 4, when Air Force visits Peterson Gym for a 7:00 p.m. (PDT) contest. Following that match, the Aztecs will host Wyoming on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 2:00 p.m. (PDT) in Peterson Gym.
