PEORIA, Arizona (Ticker) -- The San Diego Padres and a split squad of Seattle Mariners combined for 32 hits en route to a 10-10 tie. Scott Hairston and Khalil Greene homered and Kevin Kouzmanoff went 3-for-3 for the Padres, who saw eight different players drive in runs. Gregory Halman, a 20-year-old prospect from low Class A who was called up from minor league camp just to fill a spot for the day, went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and clubbed a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth for the Mariners, knotting the contest at 10-10. Felix Hernandez started for Seattle and yielded three runs and nine hits in five frames while striking out five.
